The PBA Commissioner’s Office slapped suspensions and fines on Glenn Khobuntin and Jaylen Johnson in the aftermath of their fistfight that marred the TNT-Rain or Shine Commissioner’s Cup game on Friday night.
Khobuntin was handed a two-game suspension and a P70,000 fine, while Johnson received a one-game suspension and was penalized for P50,000.
Both were summoned Saturday by Commissioner Willie Marcial at the PBA office to explain their sides of the episode that occurred during the fourth quarter of a heated match before a huge crowd at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.

The two were later assessed with flagrant foul penalty 2 and were subsequently ejected from the game which the Elasto Painters eventually won, 112-109.
Khobuntin will start serving his two-game ban on Sunday when TNT tangles with NLEX, and will also sit out their match versus San Miguel on March 28.
On the other hand, Johnson–who already apologized after the game–will serve his suspension when Rain or Shine takes on Meralco on March 27.
