Yuri Escueta confident: Sajonia, Andrada, Celzo ready to deliver in PBA

San Beda University will see three of its seniors in Yukien Andrada, Bryan Sajonia, and Joe Celzo take the next step in their basketball careers as they join the 2025 PBA Draft.

Guard Bryan Sajonia, a 6-foot guard, made waves during NCAA Season 100 as the Red Lions’ leading guard, averaging 10.25 points, 3.63 rebounds, and 1.81 assists per game.

Meanwhile, 6-foot-5 forward and skipper Yukien Andrada led San Beda in scoring last season, posting averages of 12.39 points, 5.78 rebounds, and 1.61 assists per game.

Joe Celzo, standing at 6-foot-4, is expected to be a key contributor for San Beda’s NCAA Season 101 campaign.

San Beda head coach Yuri Escueta praised the trio, noting their basketball IQ and adaptability.

“All three will be good team system players. They all have good defensive and offensive awareness. They understand defensive coverages and know how to execute schemes,” he said.

Escueta added specifics about each player’s strengths: “Bry and Yuki offensively understand spacing and are good shooters, while Joe screens, rolls, and rebounds effectively.”

Another former Red Lion joining the draft is Joshua Tagala.
