Caloocan’s gallant campaign in the 2026 FIBA 3×3 World Tour-Singapore Challenger came to an end in the quarterfinals after a 18-10 loss to world No. 13 Toulouse of France on Sunday at SCAPE 2 in Orchard Link, Singapore.
Experience proved to be the difference as the Frenchmen raced to a 12-4 lead before extending their advantage to seven, 16-9, with 1:16 remaining.
Caloocan could not muster a late miracle to turn the game around.
Chris Koon and Javi Gomez de Liano scored five and four points, respectively, for Caloocan, whose lineup was completed by Abu Tratter and Yukien Andrada.
Franck Seguela led Toulouse with seven points, while Hugo Suhard and Jules Rambaut chipped in five and four, respectively.
Still, it was a gallant run for Caloocan.
The Philippine side stunned world No. 5 Skyliners to open its campaign before falling to London, 22-9. Despite the loss, Caloocan advanced to the knockout rounds.
Toulouse went on to win the tournament and booked its spot in the Malaga Masters.
