Wushu’s Agatha Wong bags Philippines’ 3rd bronze


Wushu’s golden girl Agatha Wong brought home another medal to the country.

The 2017 Southeast Asian Games gold medalist in taijiquan took the bronze in the Wushu women’s taijijian and taijiquan competition, Monday morning at the Jakarta International Expo in Indonesia.

This is the Philippines’ third bronze in the continental meet.

Wong tallied 9.68 points in the taijiquan last Sunday, before acuumulating 9.68 points in the taijijian event Monday for a total score of 19.36 points.

Lindwell Kwok of host Indonesia bagged gold with 19.5 points, while Juanita Mok of Hong Kong won silver with 19.42.
