Wise steps up as ONIC PH deals Cignal Ultra heartbreak in MPL

Wise played his best game of the season as ONIC PH escaped defeat from the hands of Cignal Ultra, 2-1, in Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League-Philippines Season Six, Saturday evening.

Wise (Ling), who struggled in the initial part of the season, finally had his breakthrough performance. He put up 13 kills, two deaths, and six assists in ONIC PH’s Game Three victory over Cignal.

It was a tough one for the Season Five runners-up, as tsujin (Balmond) was able to steal the lord twice from ONIC PH.

On its third try, however, ONIC PH made sure to zone out tsujin and secure the lord.

Cignal Ultra was able to defend its base from the successive waves of super minions. Unfortunately, the minions came in all at the same time in the fifth wave paving the way for Wise and Iy4knu (Baxia) to focus down on the tower.

Dlar pumped in seven kills, four deaths, and five assists using Thamuz while Jay (Diggie) and OhMyV33NUS (Pharsa) combined for 19 assists.

ONIC PH’s victory pushes its standing to 4-1 in Group B, two wins behind BREN Esports.

ONIC PH dominated the jungle, securing 20 purple buffs and 17 orange buffs in the game compare to Cignal’s seven and five, respectively.

Hadess (Roger) capitalized on ONIC PH’s feeding strategy, putting up 22 kills, four deaths, and seven assists in a losing cause.

Cignal dropped its second loss in two days, falling to a 2-4 slate in Group B.

In other games, Aura PH swept BNK Blufire, 2-0, while Omega PH dominated BSB via a 2-0 decision.
