Steve Nash Enriquez steered Pasay to a solid win as the Voyagers and the Cebu Greats both posted victories on Friday in the MPBL 2026 Season at the One Arena Cainta in Rizal Province.
Pasay pulled away from Sarangani 10ACT, 75-58, in the second game, behind an all-around effort anchored by Enriquez, while Cebu followed suit in the nightcap with a 91-77 comeback win over Imus Yangkee.
Cyril Gonzales led Pasay with 15 points and two rebounds, while Brian Hilario added 14 points, five rebounds, and two assists. Enriquez orchestrated the offense with 10 points, 11 assists, three rebounds, and three steals.
Sarangani slid to 1-5 despite Larce Sunga’s effort of 16 points, seven rebounds, and four assists.
Earlier, Cebu leaned on a huge second-half surge to overcome Imus.
Dondon Hontiveros paced the Greats with 18 points—all from three-point territory—while Mark Meneses supplied 16 points built on highlight-reel finishes, along with six rebounds, three steals, three blocks, and two assists.
Trailing 44-53 at halftime, Cebu flipped the script with a blistering 19-1 run sparked by Hontiveros and Meneses, who combined for 12 points during the decisive stretch, turning the deficit into a commanding 77-61 lead after three quarters.
The Greats then shut the door behind Ron Dennison’s steady play, building as much as a 20-point cushion en route to handing Imus a 2-4 record.
Imus was paced by Joseph Mark Marquez with 18 points, six rebounds, and four assists, Janjan Salazar with 17 points and two assists, and Jordan Rios with 13 points, nine rebounds, and two assists.
In the earlier matchup, the Quezon City Black Bulls overpowered the Iloilo United Royals, 102-70, to strengthen their position in the standings.
Ryan Costelo led Quezon City with 24 points, six assists, and two rebounds, earning Best Player honors over Christian Jake Agoncillo, who finished with 13 points and five rebounds.
Levi Hernandez carried Iloilo with 36 points, including all 23 of the team’s third-quarter output, along with five rebounds and three assists.
Costelo helped seal the win with a late scoring burst as Quezon City pulled away decisively, dropping Iloilo to a 1-5 slate.
The MPBL continues at the One Arena Cainta on Saturday with Zamboanga facing San Juan at 4 p.m., Ilagan Isabela battling Manila Batang Quiapo at 6 p.m., and Valenzuela taking on Gensan at 8 p.m.
