Sports patron Alex Lim, 63, passes away due to coronavirus


One of the country’s top sports patrons has passed away due to the coronavirus.

Alex Lim (May 20, 1956 – March 31, 2020) lost his battle to the virus on Wednesday evening.

He was 63.

For two weeks, Lim fought the virus, being confined at St. Lukes Medical Center in Taguig.

Lim is the treasurer of the Philippine Bowling Federation and has been supporting Philippine Badminton for more than a decade. Besides this, he is also a member of the Asian Bowling Federation Executive Committee.
