Pheww: AP.Bren’s current roster is the most special team in four-year journey

By: Jan Marcus Montevirgen

As the most experienced player in Falcons AP.Bren, Angelo “Pheww” Arcangel believes that the current roster is the most special one he has been a part of during his four-year tenure with the organization since 2020.

Established during the 10th season of MPL PH, the squad has maintained strong camaraderie, never losing sight of each other even during challenging times.

Since teaming up in Season 10 in 2022, AP.Bren has established itself as a dominant force in the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) scene, never dropping out of the final four in any tournament they participated in.

In that two-year span, they have amassed multiple titles, adding to their impressive trophy cabinet with victories in local and major tournaments, including MPL Philippines Season 12, the M5 World Championships, Games of the Future 2024, Snapdragon Pro Series Season 5, and the recent Supernova Tournament.

However, despite their great chemistry, the team has faced challenges. Pheww revealed that communication issues in-game have been a struggle since the start of the regular season, sometimes affecting their gameplay and leading to mistakes.

So mas pagtutuunan talaga namin ayusin yung part na ‘yon,” said the 25-year-old veteran midlaner.

For Pheww, once they resolve their communication issues, they believe they will be unstoppable.

He is confident that they can achieve back-to-back MPL PH grand finals appearances and once again represent the Philippines in the M6 World Championships, which will be held in Malaysia.
