Forty-two aspirants have officially thrown their names into the 2026 PVL Draft pool and will be eligible to participate in the Draft Combine.

Headlining the list is Alyssa Solomon, the 6-foot-1 opposite spiker from National University who recently suited up for Osaka Marvelous in the Japan SV.League.

Solomon played in 30 games for the Marvelous last season, tallying 147 points built on 116 attacks, 27 blocks, and four aces.

Also part of the pool are fellow UAAP standouts Camilla Lamina, Bernadett Pepito, and Niña Ytang.

Lamina, also from NU, is a two-time UAAP Best Setter. Pepito, a product of the University of Santo Tomas, is a two-time UAAP Best Libero, while Ytang stands as the only four-time Best Middle Blocker in UAAP women’s volleyball history.

Other former Golden Tigresses in the pool are Jonna Perdido and Xyza Gula, while Ytang’s fellow UP Fighting Maroons Irah Jaboneta, Joan Monares, Heart Magsombol, and Jum Gayo also beat Friday’s application deadline.

Far Eastern University’s Tin Ubaldo, Ann Asis, and Florize Papa; De La Salle University’s Ela Raagas, Michelle Beterina, and Sophia Sindayen; the University of the East trio of KC Cepada, Tin Ecalla, and Kayce Balingit; Adamson’s Barbie Jamili; and Ateneo’s Taks Fujimoto complete the UAAP contingent.

Only one Fil-foreign prospect joined the class in Cal State Dominguez Hills’ Jade Fuentes.

Fuentes, who was born in California, is a 6-foot spiker who also suited up for La Salle before moving back to the United States.

From the NCAA, Colegio de San Juan de Letran’s Lara Mae Silva, Natalie Estreller, and Julienne Castro; Jose Rizal University’s Marianne Alona and Gayle Batara; Lyceum of the Philippines University’s Johna Dolorito, Janeth Tulang, and Jericha Lopez; Mapua University’s Grace Cabadin and Alyanna Ong; San Beda University’s Erin Navarro; San Sebastian College-Recoletos’ Katherine Santos, Christina Marasigan, and Kristine Dionisio; and University of Perpetual Help System DALTA’s Fianne Ariola also entered the draft pool.

Only two prospects from provincial colleges submitted their applications: 5-foot-9 middle blocker Kirsty Destajo of the University of Nueva Caceres in Sorsogon and University of San Carlos ace blocker Angel Galinato.

Completing the list are Immaculada Concepcion College duo Jesska Sacay and Marjorie Orpilla, along with Polytechnic University of the Philippines’ Lyca Dela Peña.

The next step for the prospects is the mandatory Draft Combine, scheduled for May 28 to 29 at Gameville Ballpark in Mandaluyong City.

Applicants will still have until June 1 to withdraw their names from the pool.
