ANTIPOLO – PLDT quickly dispatched Farm Fresh in a 25-17, 25-17, 25-20 victory, marking their second consecutive win in the Premier Volleyball League Second All-Filipino Conference at the Ynares Center on Tuesday.

Savannah Davison once again led the charge for the High Speed Hitters, tallying a game-high 18 points with 13 attacks, three service aces, and two kill blocks.

She also contributed eight excellent receptions and seven excellent digs, helping her team improve its record to 2-1.

Happy to get the win. Nag-perform naman nang maayos, so, happy kami,” said PLDT head coach Rald Ricafort.

“I couldn’t have done it without them. Working together with the team just makes it so much easier for me and I’m just glad that I have them behind me on the court supporting me, and I’m just glad that everything worked together so easily,” added Davison, who id currently 18 points per game after three games played.

After swiftly claiming the first two sets, the High Speed Hitters secured a six-point lead, 23-17, thanks to consecutive points from Michelle Morente in the third set.

Alyssa Bertolano tried to rally her team, scoring two points in a 3-0 run to reduce the lead to three. But Angelica Legacio then sealed the victory.

The towering duo of Dell Palomata and Mika Reyes added eight and seven points, respectively, during an hour and 10 minutes of play.
