VICTORIAS, Negros Occidental — Farm Fresh found its groove late to outlast Capital1, 20-25, 25-19, 22-25, 25-12, 15-10, in the first five-setter of the 2026 PVL On Tour Showdown on Saturday at the Victorias City Coliseum here.
The Foxies closed out their province-hopping tour with back-to-back wins to finish with a 2-1 record.
Farm Fresh now turns its attention to the upcoming Invitational Conference, which begins August 31 at the Smart Araneta Coliseum. The Foxies will be joined by Creamline, PLDT, Nxled, Vietnam’s Ho Chi Minh City, and Thailand’s EST Cola.

“Today’s game was a fantastic game. It was a seesaw battle. We need more practice because we have the Invitational Conference come next week,” said Foxies head coach Koji Tsuzurabara.
Ara Galang sparked Farm Fresh’s runaway fourth-set finish, producing key hits, blocks, and aces as the Foxies built a commanding 16-6 lead to force a deciding frame.
In the fifth, another veteran stepped up as Ces Molina finished the job for Farm Fresh. She scored four of the team’s final seven points before Trisha Tubu sealed the victory with a signature crosscourt hammer after two hours and 28 minutes of play.
“Isa lang naman din ‘yung reminder ni coach sa amin bago mag-warm-up: umuwi nang panalo para pag naglaro kami sa Invitationals, mataas ‘yung confidence namin,” said Molina, who finished with 16 points, 17 excellent receptions, and 11 excellent digs.
Tubu once again spearheaded the Foxies’ attack with 24 points, while Galang added 14 points on eight attacks, three blocks, and three aces, along with eight digs. Libero Maicah Larroza turned in a solid defensive performance while playing in front of her home crowd.

On the other hand, the Solar Spikers finished their On Tour campaign with two losses. They were supposed to face the Cool Smashers on August 8 in Santiago, Isabela, but the match was canceled due to Tropical Depression Maymay.
Shaya Adorador led Capital1 with 14 points, while Ysa Jimenez and Cherry Nunag followed with 13 and 11 points, respectively.
Khy Cepada also provided a surprise boost with nine points, while Trisha Genesis chipped in seven.
