PFL: United City sinks Mendiola 1991, goes to top of table

United City regained first place in the 2022-2023 Philippines Football League with a 2-0 victory over Mendiola 1991, Saturday, at the PFF National Training Center in Cavite.

The defending champions banked on goals from Alan Robertson and Ricardo Sendra in the 45+3 and 73rd minutes to seal a routine win.

The outcome means that United City climbs to the top of the standings with 19 points on the back of six wins and one draw.

In contrast, Mendiola remained in sixth place with three points behind one win and eight defeats.
