OhMyV33NUS dedicates MVP award to family, fans, and Wise

At long last, after anchoring Blacklist International to two consecutive titles back in the MPL Philippines Seasons Seven and Eight, Johnmar “OhMyV33NUS” Villaluna finally received the recognition that she deserves.

On Tuesday night, the 28-year-old roamer was awarded the MPL Philippines Season 10 regular season Most Valuable Player award – her first major individual plum in her three-year career.

While she admitted that she never expected to win the award in the first place, OhMyV33NUS made sure to express her utmost gratitude to each and every one who believed in her moments after receiving the league’s highest individual honor.

“From being a rookie in MPL Season 4, now we’re here,” OhMyV33NUS said in a Facebook post on her official page.

“I would never expect na magiging #MV33P tayo after being in the tank/support role ever since I joined the league! Salamat sa community for welcoming a barbie tank and for appreciating the shot calls made inside the game,” she continued.

The former ONIC PH star also dedicated the award to her beloved fans, family, and of course, Danerie “Wise” Del Rosario.

“This is for the fans, Wise Gaming and of course, to my family.”

OhMyV33NUS topped the assists category after the regular season with a grand total of 327 through per-game counts of 9.62. She also had a league-best, 80-percent kill participation, steering Blacklist International to the top seed with 29 points off a 9-5 win-loss slate.

The two-time MPL Philippines champion is the second regular season MVP from the Tier One lair after Salic “Hadji” Imam won the award in Season Eight.

OhMyV33NUS is also the fourth player to nab an MVP award after Hadji, Edward “Edward” Dapadap (MPL PH Season Seven Finals MVP), and Kiel “OHEB” Soriano (M3 World Championship Finals MVP).

Blacklist International will return to action on October 21 when they face the winner of the Bren Esports-Omega Esports first-round match-up in the upper bracket semifinals.
