RSG PH secured the top seed after sweeping ONIC PH, 2-0, in its final regular season assignment in the MPL Philippines Season Nine.
The team ended the elimination stage with a league-best 31 points off an 11-3 win-loss standing.
Eman “EMANN” Sangco (Beatrix) punished Marky “Markyyyyy” Capacio’s Aldous in the Lord fight near the 20-minute mark. With Markyyyyy out and Kairi “Kairi” Rayosdelsol’s Fanny retreating, RSG PH secured the objective with ease.
RSG PH then sealed a three-man wipe during the siege to end the match.
Arvie “Aqua” Calderon’s Cecillion notched four kills and nine assists against one death while EMANN had five kills and six assists against two deaths in 23 minutes and 16 seconds of action.
In Game Two, a clean five-man wipe past the 16th minute allowed RSG PH to go for the game-winning push down the bottom lane.
EMANN on Karrie led the way with a game-high eight kills along with four assists while Aqua’s Yve recorded a game-high 13 assists laced with a kill and a death in the 15-12 Game Two win in 17 minutes and 10 seconds.
ONIC PH remained at the fourth spot with 19 points and an 8-6 standing.
