Filipino Coach Denver “Yeb” Minranda and jungler Kairi “Kairi” Rayosdelsol made it two straight MPL Indonesia titles after helping Onic Esports dominate Evos Legends, 4-0, in the Season 11 Grand Finals.
The reigning MPL ID best jungler breezed through the series, opening with a monster 11-0-2 KDA with the Fanny pick in Game 1 to lead Onic’s 17-2 kill domination then concluded the series with a superb performance with the Hayabusa pick en route to a perfect 12-0-7 KDA.
Yeb, who was serving as the assistant coach last season, took home his first MPL title as head coach.
Onic completed a dominant run in the playoffs where they also took down Alter Ego with a 3-0 in the upper bracket finals last Friday.
The win was a duplication of their upper bracket series against Evos, whom they sent to the lower bracket with an easy 3-0 win.
Yeb and Kairi are on their way to their first-ever MLBB Southeast Asian Cup appearance in Cambodia this June 2023.
