The stage is set for the 2024 Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Mid Season Cup (MSC).
Liquid ECHO, the reigning MPL PH champion, has been placed in Group C and will face Germany’s Team Spirit, Saudi Arabian powerhouse Twisted Minds, and the yet-to-be-determined winner of the Wild Card Stage.
Meanwhile, Falcons AP.Bren will take on familiar faces in Group D.
They will compete against North American representative Cloud 9, which consists of Filipinos Peter “Basic” Bryce Lozano, Chris “Miellow” Amiel Enobio, Marco “Marqt” Lacson, and Chris “Cole World” Cartagena, as well as Xianyou Gaming (China) featuring Kiel “Kielvj” Hernandez, and Falcon Esports (Myanmar).
Group B features defending MPL ID champion Fnatic ONIC with Kairi “Kairi” Rayosdelsol and coach Denver “Yeb” Miranda, MPL Cambodia titlist See You Soon featuring Michael “MP The King” Endino, Kennt “Souul” Baesa, and Jhonwin “Hesa” Vergara, and MPL MENA winner Team Falcons with coach John “Zico” Dizon, Jaylord “Goodnight” Bacog, and Danver “Ding” Canja’s Team Falcons (Saudi Arabia).
Group A will include Jaymark “Hadess” Lazaro and Jankurt “KurtTzy” Matira’s NIP Flash (Singapore), Red “Super Red” Bordeos’ EVOS Glory, RRQ Akira (Brazil), and Fire Flux Esports (Turkey).
Meanwhile, the Wild Card Stage will showcase eight teams from different corners of the world battling for a spot in Group C.
In the WC are Kenneth “Nets” Barro’s HomeBois (Malaysia), Kenneth “Saxa” Fedelin and Damasco “Tracy” Danielle’s Keep Best Gaming (China), and Justin “Shocker” Guanga’s Zino Zenith (Vietnam).
Completing the roster are Entity7 (Peru), BruteForce (CIS), S2G Esports (Turkey), Trained To Kill (Nepal), and IHC Esports (Nepal).
The MSC 2024 will be held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, from June 28 to July 14. The group stage will feature a best-of-two format, while the playoffs will use a best-of-five format.
Meanwhile, Smart Omega Empress will represent the Philippines in the upcoming ML:BB Women’s Invitational 2024.
The Empress, who won the SILAB: Road to MWI, are pooled in Group B with Myanmar’s Net Angels and DreamMax Girls of Brazil.
