Michele Gumabao takes leave from Creamline

Creamline opposite hitter Michele Gumabao will not participate in the 2022 Premier Volleyball League Open Conference.

The 29-year-old, who is a three-time V-League Best Opposite Spiker, is focused on the campaign trail as she is part of the Mothers for Change party-list along with Mocha Uson.

“As of now po, naka-leave of absence indefinitely po ako pero I’m still with Creamline,” she told ONE PH’s Wag Po program.

A total of three seats can be won by a partylist.

If a party list gets two percent of the national vote, they get one seat. Four percent gets it two seats.

Uson is the first candidate of Mothers of Change.

“Kung makapasok naman po yung party list, Mocha would be our first nominee so siya po muna yung makakapasok and if God-willing na makapasok naman po ako we’ll see,” Gumabao explained.

Gumabao added that she would still be supporting the Cool Smashers albeit in a different capacity.

And based on her Instagram post, she already missed the team.
