Letran Squires standout Jolo Navarro joins NU Bulldogs

National University has once again scored a Kapampangan standout.

Jolo Navarro of Letran High School is heading to NU for college.

For the 19-year-old Squire, joining the Bulldogs is a dream come true.

Malaking bagay din po sa’kin yon na makakatulong para sa next level of basketball ko po, to learn more or maximize my experience to grow as a player po,” the two-time NCAA juniors basketball champion continued.

Hailing from Masantol, Pampanga, Navarro also wanted to join fellow Kapampangans Jake Figueroa and Jolo Manansala at NU.

“Yes, very excited po ako.

During his Grade 12 year, the 6-foot-4 forward averaged 9.54 points and 7.23 rebounds per game.

Navarro, a product of Delta Pineda’s program and represented by Phenom Championship Clinic, was one of the go-to guys of Allen Ricardo.

He hopes that his game will translate well in the UAAP men’s basketball tournament.
