DLSU locks in future as six LSGH standouts pledge commitment

De La Salle University has secured its future after six La Salle Green Hills seniors have committed to the school.

Pat Pasinos, Josef Calo-oy, Owen Calanasan, Jacob Hizon, Jaime Teodoro, and Austin Arsic, despite still being in Grade 12, have already pledged to study and play for DLSU in college.

“Of course, I’m really happy that they all decided to be together and stay in the La Salle system for college,” Green Archers head coach Topex Robinson told Tiebreaker Times.

“But siyempre, they still have a goal and a mission this year, which is to win the NCAA championship. But at least now, they won’t need to think about where they will be going, as they already decided as a group to commit to us.”

The development also aligns with La Salle president Br. Bernard Oca’s vision of a more streamlined program.

“It has been the vision of Bro. Bernie to produce Green Archers from the LSGH program, and all six of them are fruits of that vision,” Robinson added, as players like Jacob Cortez, Kean Baclaan, Luis Pablo, and Seven Gagate have also returned to La Salle in recent years.

LSGH finished its campaign last season in the quarterfinals, bowing out to eventual finalist Arellano, 86-79.

The six will now look to end the Greenies’ eight-year NCAA title drought before eventually making the jump to the UAAP come Season 90.
