Lito Adiwang hopes to be part of ONE: Masters of Fate

Lito “Thunder Kid” Adiwang looks to the future after a masterful stint at Rich Franklin’s ONE Warrior Series, where the Filipino earned a lucrative six-figure contract to the ONE Championship main roster.

Adiwang earned an impressive unanimous decision win over Anthony “The Antidote” Do at OWS 7 on August 6 in Singapore, and he got the coveted contract after the match.

For Adiwang, it isn’t enough just to be on the main roster – he’s here for the long haul.

“Now I’m eager to enter the Circle as soon as possible so I can showcase what I failed to show back then. [I’m] really excited to showcase the things that I can do,” Adiwang explained.

“My goal is to become the ONE Strawweight World Champion. That’s what I am aiming for. That’s what pushed me to get some impressive wins and put on a better show.”

The 26-year-old hopes to be a part of ONE: Masters of Fate when The Home Of Martial Arts returns to the Mall Of Asia Arena for their final show in the Philippines on November 8.

And for Adiwang, the timing is nothing short of perfect.

With the card three months away, it gives him ample time to rest, recharge, and hold a full training camp before he steps into the ONE Circle once more.

“I’ll be ready. For me, it’s the perfect timing ’cause it’s only a few months away. I don’t have any injuries, so there’s no problem for me,” Adiwang said.

“Now it’s all about getting a bit of rest and recovery, and then I’ll go back to training and prepare for November 8. If I’ll be given a chance, I’ll be ready. I’m really eager to join the card.”

Whenever he makes his debut, Adiwang promises to bring the best version of himself. He aims to one day join the top-tier Filipino athletes who have won a World Title in the largest martial arts organization in the world.

“I’ll do my best, train harder, give better shows – then get a title shot.”

Catch ONE Championship’s event ONE: Immortal Triumph on September 6 in Ho Chi Minh City in Vietnam. It will be the organization’s first-ever all-Super Series event. It will be aired live on the ONE Super App.
