FEU adds promising Fil-Am winger Nicholas Dunque to pool

Far Eastern University has secured the commitment of another Filipino-American prospect.

Lanky winger Nicholas Dunque will join Sean Chambers’ Tamaraws.

Fil Nation Select’s coach Rodel Lizan confirmed the development to Tiebreaker Times.

Dunque is a 6-foot-3 forward from Monterey High School in California.

A hard-nosed defender and a potent scorer, he led his school to the state championship a couple of months ago.

Dunque joins a large group of freshmen who are set to rebuild the Tamaraws, who have missed the Final Four for the last two seasons.

Gilas Youth’s Jayden Jones is also set to join FEU, while the trio of Veejay Pre, JR Pasaol, and Jedric Daa are ready to make the leap to the senior ranks.
