Zain Mahmood has decided to come back home.
The 6-foot-6 bruiser, after spending two years in the Philippines, has moved on from Far Eastern University to continue his playing career with Ontario Tech University.
It was a similar decision to the one made by his good friend, Alex Konov, a year ago. Konov left De La Salle University to return to the US and play for Stockton University.
It had been a tough run for Mahmood in the UAAP.

Mahmood made his UAAP debut in Season 87 with the University of Santo Tomas but played in only seven games.
He did find success in the 3×3 tournament that season, helping the Growling Tigers win the silver medal.
Mahmood then transferred to FEU, but he was sparingly used in preseason tournaments as well.
Now, he will have a fresh start with Ontario Tech and can immediately suit up for the university this season.
