Duckey looks to field Rimuru, Malik as Bren’s struggles continue

With Bren Esports absorbing another setback, coach Francis “Duckey” Glindro is turning his attention to his rookies.

The reigning world champions suffered its third-straight loss of the season on Saturday night, losing to TNC via a tough 2-0 sweep – joining Nexplay EVOS at the bottom of the standings with a point each.

That is why Duckey, who believes that his team is still one of the best in the world, is looking at the 17-year-old Muj “Malik” Malik and the 14-year-old Dwine “Rimuru” Enriquez to help the team get out of the slump.

“Very high chance that we’ll mix it up.

“Next week, we’ll be playing with the rookies just to mix things up, lighten the mood, and baguhin yung dynamics nung team,” said Duckey during Bren Esports’ post-match press conference.

“Although wala sila sa peak performance nila, I still believe na they’re still playing great individually, we just need to find the dynamic na sobrang fit for this particular patch and increase yung… baguhin yung dynamics ng team siguro. Siguro nga kailangan na namin talaga i-try yung rookies,” he added.

Duckey and the rest of the main five will have plenty of time to integrate the two to its system as Bren Esports are set to return to action next week on Friday against Omega Esports at 8:00 PM.

Malik and Rimuru are listed as junglers but can easily slide to the gold spot if needed.

“Yes, it is very obvious that we’re struggling, but then again it is also obvious na kailangan naming baguhin yung mga bagay bagay sa amin further, may mga binago na kami but it seems that it’s not enough,” expressed Duckey.

“But I guarantee you these guys are still playing at their best, I still believe in them and next week, next week.”
