Dogie bares reason why Renejay left NXPE boot camp

Popular streamer and Nexplay EVOS support Setsuna “Akosi Dogie” Ignacio slammed Nexplay EVOS’ management, revealing the reason behind star gold laner Renejay “RENEJAY” Barcarse’s departure from the boot camp in a Facebook livestream on Monday.

Visibly frustrated, the popular streamer did not mince his words towards the team’s managerial team, who are currently handling the team’s day-to-day activities.

Dogie revealed that the players were drinking every weekend inside the boot camp in Manila – something that he never allowed them to do back when they were with him in the Pampanga boot camp.

“Sinong nag-iinom doon every Saturday and Sunday? Habang nag-papractice vinivideohan sila, mina-my day,” said Dogie.

“P***, boot camp ‘yun tol, hindi ‘yun bar. Bar [ba] ‘yon? Tama ba ‘yon? Pinepermit ‘yon? Puwede ‘yon? Ang boot camp, office ‘yan! ‘Pag ikaw ba nagtatrabaho sa opisina? Nag-iinom ka? Ayun ‘yung gusto kong malaman,” added Dogie.

This may have prompted Renejay’s parents to remove him from the boot camp prior to the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League-Philippines Season Eight. The 18-year-old social media star has already missed Nexplay EVOS’ first two matches, in which they both dropped.

The team consists of two minors in James “Jeymz” Gloria, and Sanford “Sanford” Vinuya. Jeymz is 17 years old, while Sanford – who is currently with Dogie in a different boot camp – is 15 years old.

Meanwhile, Renejay is 18 years old, as well as Jhonwin “Hesa” Dela Merced. Jeniel “Haze” Bata-anon is the oldest 25, while Tristan “Yawi” Cabrera and John Paul “H2wo” Salonga are 19.

Dogie also said that Nexplay Esports Head of Business Development and Partnership Adrian Rob Son was not around when these things transpired.

Members of the management inside the boot camp were Baby Ignacio and Macy Kalaw.

“Ayaw pa makipag-communicate. Seryoso ka? Party people, malapit na MPL, nagpa-party pa. Bakit? Para mag-chill?

“Puwede naman silang mag-foodtrip. Ano ginagawa namin dito? Tara, foodtrip tayo, kain sa labas. Kain, balik sa boot camp, tapos,” said a furious Dogie. “Pero ‘yung alak? Sa boot camp? ‘Wag naman ganun. Tapos ngayon pinagpa-public apology niyo ‘yung bata?

Ganun magpatakbo, kapag dumating ‘yung magulang, kausapin niyo, ‘wag kayo matakot. Dumating doon ‘yung magulang ni Renejay, asan kayo? Asan doon si ate Macy [Kalaw]? Hindi niya kayang kausapin ‘yung magulang? Communication is the key. Management, p***, iga-guide ko pa ba kayo?” he continued.

Dogie also revealed that no one from the staff talked to Renejay’s parents when they picked up their son. He shared that the management has asked the player to issue a public apology for what transpired.

Ganun ka-simple,” he said.

Wala! Walang nagtanong kung bakit aalis si Renejay. ‘Pagka balik dito nung bata nag-open up sa akin,” Dogie added.

Aside from the partying, Dogie also revealed that persons who are not part of the team were being allowed by the management to enter the boot camp.

The squad was originally in Dogie’s lair in Pampanga prior to the season. Management in Manila eventually moved them to a different location.

Nexplay EVOS is currently at the last spot, level with BREN Esports and Omega Esports with one point each.
