Creamline cruises past Galeries Tower for back-to-back wins in PVL

ILAGAN, ISABELA – Defending champion Creamline put on a show on the road, crushing Galeries Tower in straight sets, 25-9, 25-11, 25-15, to notch back-to-back victories in the 2025 Premier Volleyball League Reinforced Conference on Saturday night at the Capital Arena here.

Fresh off a momentum-boosting win over Petro Gazz, the Cool Smashers — who had the opportunity to utilize their entire 14-woman bench — showed no signs of slowing down.

They dominated from start to finish, improving to 2-1, tied with the Angels for third in Pool B.

“Timing lang din sa mga second stringers. Talagang they played well naman, sa training naman 100-percent din ‘yung ginagawa nila, so deserve naman talaga nila ‘yung playing time,” said Creamline head coach Sherwin Meneses.

The Cool Smashers needed only 68 minutes to dismantle the Highrisers in a show of complete control. They unleashed a 42-17 attack barrage while dominating the net with nine blocks to four and the service line with six aces to five.

Creamline’s crisp execution and relentless pressure left Galeries Tower reeling, as they converted 18 points off their opponents’ errors while giving away only nine of their own.

The team also secured a big win that put them just behind pool leaders Akari and ZUS Coffee.

American reinforcement Courtney Schwann played all three sets and submitted a game-high 14 points — 12 of which came from attacks — to go along with six excellent digs. Team captain Alyssa Valdez tallied 10 points and five excellent receptions in the win.
