Caloy Yulo showcased his capabilities for the upcoming Tokyo Olympics after taking the bronze in the parallel bars at the 2021 All-Japan Apparatus Championships at the Takasaki Arena, Sunday.
The 21-year-old is currently looking to improve on the other apparatuses as he will be competing as well in the individual all-around event in Tokyo next month. And this result brings forth good news.
Yulo took the third-place honors with a final score of 14.966 after adding up a difficulty score of 6.400 and an execution score of 8.566.
Japanese Yusuke Tanaka and Kaito Sugimoto both clinched the gold with 15.400.
