Blacklist advances to MPL PH lower final, tapes OHEB’s hand for good measure

Kiel “OHEB” Soriano finally made his return as Blacklist International ended Nexplay EVOS’ run, taking a dominant 3-0 victory to advance to the losers’ final of the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League-Philippines Season Eight playoffs, Saturday afternoon.

The defending champions were coming off a loss to Omega Esports yesterday. They will face the loser between the winners’ final match against ONIC PH and Omega Esports.

Taking the first two games with ease, Blacklist International went for the jugular in Game Three – carrying over its surgical approach in Game Two to boot out Nexplay EVOS.

Edward “Edward” Dapadap took the SMART 5G MVP with two kills and five assists in 19 minutes and 36 seconds of game time.

“Pinag-usapan namin ‘yung  bumalik kami sa dati naming ginagawa which is sa akin. Tapos ayun, binalik lang namin ‘yung ginagawa namin,” said OHEB.

Blacklist International ran over Nexplay Esports in the middle lane in Game One, taking out Renejay “RENEJAY” Barcarse (Yu Zhong); Jhonwin “Hesa” Dela Merced (Claude); and Tristan “Yawi” Cabrera (Ruby).

John Paul “H2wo” Salonga (Paquito), who was already recalling back to the base, tried to pick off Johnmar “OhMyV33NUS” Villaluna’s Yve. He was met by a five-man Blacklist International which led to a death.

Jeniel “Haze” Bata-anon’s Selena was the lone survivor of the clash as the Tier One-backed squad went for the death push.

The returning OHEB (Harith) immediately made his presence felt. He put up four kills, a death, and nine assists en route to the SMART 5G MVP in Game One.
