The naturalized Filipino winger came off the bench and finished with 11 points, nine rebounds, and six assists in a turnover-less performance as the Indonesian Basketball League outfit commenced Group B play in lopsided fashion.
Brownlee helped facilitate Pelita Jaya’s third-quarter breakaway, where the crew unloaded the telling 18-2 run en route to a 73-56 lead to set up the romp.
Muhammad Guntara and JaQuori McLaughlin produced 20 points apiece to lead the way in the victory that saw them lead by as many as 29 points.
Guntara shot 5-of-6 from deep to eventually tally the most points he’s had thus far in a FIBA competition, including national team events.
Andakara Prastawa supplied 12 points, spiked by a pair of treys. Alioune Tew came through with a double-double of 10 points and 15 rebounds.
Hi-Tech, on the other hand, was led by Freddie Lish with 25 points in the defeat. Moses Morgan backed up his long-time teammate with 14 points.
Marcus Elliott had 11 points, four rebounds, five assists, and two steals. Nattakam Muangboon also had 11 for the Thai side.
