Aldin Ayo makes subtle tweet on non-call late in UST-Adamson game

After UST suffered a stunning come-from-behind loss at the hands of the Adamson Soaring Falcons, Growling Tigers head coach Aldin Ayo politely declined an interview.

Instead, the decorated mentor took to social media. He posted a picture of one of the crucial “stops” Adamson made late in the game.

This incident occurred with 1:24 left, while UST was clinging to a 71-67 lead.

During the inbound play, after Valandre Chauca made two freebies, Brent Paraiso was making the inbound. However, Jerom Lastimosa had Renzo Subido shackled, holding down Subido’s right arm while locking his body as well.

Not wanting to commit an inbound violation, Paraiso was forced to pass the ball to Subido, resulting in a Lastimosa steal. Lastimosa then found Chauca for a wide-open triple to cut the lead down to one.

In the Tweet, Ayo lamented the non-call on Lastimosa.

Adamson ended the game with a 16-0 blast, taking a 78-71 victory to create a tie with UST in the standings.
