Akari forms second PVL team Nxled

The Premier Volleyball League (PVL) will welcome a new contender in its upcoming third conference later this year.

Nxled, a pioneering force in luxury lighting, has boldly stepped into the arena, committing to creating a formidable team that promises to be a game-changer on and off the court.

The emergence of Nxled as a new player in the PVL is under the umbrella of the esteemed Akari Lighting & Technology Corporation. This marks its second team in the professional volleyball league.

However, this decision isn’t solely about extending the brand’s reach – it’s a strategic move that embodies Akari’s unwavering support for Philippine volleyball.

“We are forming Nxled not only to promote the brand but also to reinforce our commitment to the sport and its players,” emphasized Russell Balbacal, Akari Sports Director.

“The PVL has become a vibrant platform for brands to showcase their products, and we believe this synergy will not only benefit our company but also contribute to the growth of volleyball in the Philippines.”

Nxled’s team, aptly named the “Chameleons,” draws a parallel to the brand’s innovative approach to luxury lighting.

Just as a chameleon seamlessly adapts to its surroundings, Nxled’s accent lights effortlessly adjust to various household settings, reflecting the brand’s versatility.

This adaptability, both in lighting solutions and on the court, has become the core identity of the Nxled Chameleons.

“We envision the Nxled Chameleons as a team that can swiftly adapt to any opponent they encounter in the PVL,” Balbacal explained. “Our focus is on crafting a dynamic and competitive team, not just for a fleeting moment but as a long-term participant in the league.”

With a commitment to lasting impact, Nxled is poised to shine a light on the future of Philippine volleyball. The company’s pledge to provide job opportunities for players and coaches aligns with its broader vision of contributing to the sport’s development.
