Nxled kept its finals hopes alive with a 25-20, 25-21, 18-25, 25-22 victory over already-eliminated Farm Fresh in the 2026 Premier Volleyball League Invitational Conference on Sunday at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.
The Chameleons wrapped up the elimination stage with a 3-2 record and will now have to wait for the results of Creamline and Est Cola’s respective matches later in the day, needing either team to stumble to keep their finals hopes alive.
Should the Cool Smashers and the Thai squad both prevail against PLDT and Ho Chi Minh City, respectively, Nxled will fall to the bronze medal match.
Nevertheless, the Chameleons took care of business against the Foxies, putting themselves in the best possible position to secure a spot in the championship match.

“I’m really proud of the way we played this mini tournament. Really intense, and I think that it’s clear for everyone that this is a fighting team,” said Nxled head coach Ettore Guidetti.
“We fought against everyone. We didn’t lose a single set with a big score. We always try our best to bring the victory home. Sometimes we succeed, sometimes we don’t. But it has always, always been a fearsome battle for us,” he added.
MJ Phillips imposed her will above the net, pouring in 25 points on 19-of-30 attacking while adding four aces and two blocks.
Jackie Acuna chipped in 12 points, while Jonah Sabete-Escamillan posted a double-double of 11 points and 21 excellent receptions. Myla Pablo added 10 points, while EJ Carino registered nine markers and 13 excellent digs.
Gel Cayuna dished out 22 excellent sets to go with six points, while Irah Jaboneta and Jellie Tempiatura tallied 15 excellent receptions and 11 excellent digs, respectively.

On the other hand, the Foxies slipped to a 1-4 record and are now relegated to the fifth-place match.
Trisha Tubu led Farm Fresh with 20 points on 17 attacks and three blocks, to go with 10 excellent digs, while Jonna Perdido came off the bench with 13 points and 11 excellent digs.
Ces Molina rounded out the Foxies’ double-digit scorers with 12 points.
