Arienza, Reyk set for Night of Champions III

All three title bouts are set for the third installment of Elorde Boxing Promotion’s Night of Champions after a successful weigh-ins, held today at the Skippy’s Bar and Grill at the Bonifacio Global City in Taguig.

All fighters made the allowable limit in their respective weight classes, headlined by the title fight for the vacant WBC Asian Boxing Council super lightweight belt between Elorde Boxing’s own Jeffrey “The Bull” Arienza and Indonesia’s Wellem Reyk.

Arienza tipped in the scales at exactly 140-pounds. Reyk came in a shade below at 139-pounds.

In the title fight for the vacant WBC Intercontinental featherweight championship, Danilo Pena initially struggled to make the championship limit but eventually made it in his second attempt, while Lopez easily weighed at 126-pound limit.

For the third championship bout of the card, Filipino flyweights JR Cagobgob and Donnie Mabao will square off for the Game and Amusements Board’s Philippine Flyweight, belt which is held by the latter. Both men came in at exactly 112 pounds.

Night of Champions III will be held at the SM Mall of Asia Music Hall tomorrow, July 13, 2016. Fight starts at 5:00 PM.
