Ken Tuffin looks to have one more run in the New Zealand-National Basketball League.
Wellington announced that it has signed the Fil-Kiwi gunner for the league’s 2022 season on Friday.
After the UAAP Season 82 season, Tuffin – a 6-foot-4 winger out of Far Eastern University – signed with Taranaki as an amateur player.
He helped Taranaki to the semis with averages of 9.2 points on 42.4-percent shooting from three and 4.7 rebounds per game.
A year later, Tuffin decided to go pro, signing with the Saints.
With Wellington, he put up norms of 8.5 points on 49.3-percent shooting from downtown, with 3.5 rebounds per game.
The Saints won the title after taking down Hawke’s Bay in the Sal’s Grand Final.
With this, Tuffin, who turns 25 on May 5, will skip the 2022 PBA Rookie Draft.
Tuffin is also set to represent Wellington in the NZ-NBL 3×3 tournament.
