Doors are now open for aspirants keen to join the PBA this year.
The league on Thursday announced that it is now accepting applications for the Season 48 Rookie Draft set for October.
Similar to the previous two proceedings, the draft is open to players who are 22 years old and above, or 19 with a minimum two years of college education.
Local applicants are required to submit an original copy of their birth certificate, while Fil-foreigners would need to provide a valid Philippine passport.
School records, meanwhile, will be needed from hopefuls aged 19.
Requirements may be submitted during office hours at the PBA Office located at 186 E. Rodriguez Jr. Ave., Bagumbayan, Quezon City.
Deadline for submission is on September 10, 2023, at 5 p.m.
The 2023 draft class is yet to get clear but expected to banner the field are UAAP standouts Schonny Winston from La Salle and Zav Lucero from UP.
Former New Zealand NBL cager Ken Tuffin plus PBA 3×3 players Keith Datu and Brandon Bates are also seen to join the draft.
