After just one year at Adamson University, Trisha Tubu is heading to the Premier Volleyball League.
The 5-foot-8 spiker out of Concepcion, Tarlac has signed with Farm Fresh, effectively ending her eligibility in the UAAP.
Though the decision to turn pro was tough, it was a decision that she had to make, sharing that her father has been nursing a heart ailment and that she is serving as a breadwinner for her family.
Tubu had a spectacular rookie campaign for the Lady Falcons.
She was the seventh-best scorer with a spiking rate of 31.31-percent. She was also the 10th-best blocker in UAAP Season 85 at 0.39 per set.
Also turning pro is second-year libero Cae Lazo.
Also leaving Adamson were Louie Romero, Rizza Cruz, Ckyle Tagsip, Kate Santiago, and Cae Lazo.
Lazo also signed with Farm Fresh.
