Tims signs with INA squad BOOM Esports

Former TNC star Timothy “Tims” Randrup has signed with Indonesian squad BOOM Esports.

Tims will be joining fellow Filipinos Erin “Yopaj” Ferrer and Gabriel “Skem” Ong in the roster along with holdover Saieful “Fbz” Ilham.

All three Filipinos played together before with OB Neon back when Tims served as a stand-in for the squad. During their short run, they led OB Neon to two championships in the BIX Invitationals Summer Edition and the LPL Pro Dota 2 Winter Invitational.

Since turning pro, Tims has qualified for The International four times — first with Execration and the last three with TNC.

That streak, however, was put to an end after TNC got eliminated by regional rival Fnatic in the Southeast Asia Regional Qualifiers for TI10 via reverse sweep in the grand finals.

Tims is the second TNC player to get signed by an organization after Marvin “Boomy” Rushton went to Polaris Esports yesterday, Friday.

The premier Filipino organization released all five of its players including Kim “Gabbi” Villafuerte, Armel “Armel” Tabios, and Jun “Bok” Kanehara.
