The B.League made sure to put the potential Ravena versus Ravena face-off right on the league’s opening weekend.
Thirdy Ravena’s San-En will take on Kiefer’s Shiga on October 2 at the Lakestars’ home floor Ukaruchan Arena.
This will only happen, though, if the Philippine Basketball Association allows Kiefer to play in the B.League. Shiga has still made sure to include the NLEX ace on their opening day roster.
If ever this pushes through, this will be the first time Thirdy and Kiefer will play on opposing ends in a sanctioned game.
“It’s going to be exciting that we will be facing each other. We are going to have some fun,” said Thirdy.
Javi Gomez de Liaño will also make his Ibaraki debut on October 2. The Robots face Akita Northern Happinets at the CNA Arena.
Javi’s younger brother Juan, on the other hand, will also compete on opening weekend. B2 team Earth Friends Tokyo Z battles the Kagawa Five Arrows at the Ota Ward General Gymnasium.
