Cantada, a 5-foot-7 outside spiker from Dasmariñas, Cavite, was a dominant force throughout the tournament.

She led all scorers in the elimination round with 180 total points, coming from 134 attacks (on 34.01% efficiency), 14 blocks, and a league-best 32 aces. She also ranked seventh in receiving efficiency at 20.57%.

NUNS defeated Cantada’s Adamson squad in straight games during the finals to clinch the Season 87 title.

With the arrival of Cantada, Alonzo, and Adrao, the Lady Bullpups become even more formidable, adding depth to a roster already featuring standouts like Harlyn Serneche and Den Daylisan.

Adamson head coach JP Yude has been sought for comment by Tiebreaker Times but has yet to respond as of publishing time.
