The San Juan Knights extended their winning streak, while the Quezon Huskers bounced back in the MPBL 2026 Season on Tuesday at the Ynares Sports Arena in Pasig City.
San Juan defeated Bataan, 102-95, in the second game of the triple-header, while Quezon overwhelmed host Pasig City, 93-55, in the nightcap of the round-robin elimination phase of the 27-team tournament.
Behind another stellar performance from Patrick Sleat, the Knights secured their 10th consecutive victory to improve to 11-1, trailing only Caloocan (14-1) and Abra (12-1) in the North Division standings.
Sleat finished with 21 points, including 13 in the fourth quarter, along with eight rebounds and five assists. He was backed by Mike Calisaan, who had 18 points and three rebounds, Orlan Wamar with 12 points, nine assists and four rebounds, and Gerry Abadiano, who chipped in 11 points.
Bataan dropped to 5-9 despite placing five players in double figures. Hubert Cani led the Risers with 18 points, six assists and four rebounds, while Chris Javier contributed 17 points, seven rebounds and two assists. Yves Sazon, Joey Barcuma and Alfred Flores each added 13 points.

Coming off back-to-back losses, the Huskers quickly regained their form by building a commanding 51-21 halftime lead before stretching the advantage to 87-42 midway through the fourth quarter. The reigning back-to-back South Division champions improved to 9-2.
Christian Pagaran led Quezon with 18 points, eight rebounds and two assists, while Cedrick Manzano added 14 points, five rebounds, three assists, three blocks and two steals.
Jolo Manansala tallied 11 points, seven rebounds and two assists, Will McAloney contributed 11 points, three rebounds, two assists and two blocks, while Michael Canete also scored 11 points to go with six assists and two rebounds.
Pasig slipped to 7-6, with Jerome Garcia providing the lone bright spot after finishing with 12 points and four rebounds.
In the opening game, the Rizal XentroMall Golden Coolers showcased balanced scoring in an 84-70 victory over the Bulacan Kuyas.
Veterans JP Sarao and Billy Robles led six Rizal players in double figures as the Golden Coolers pulled away, leading by as many as 16 points at 77-61, to secure their third straight victory and improve to 9-5.
Sarao, an MPBL All-Star in 2024, recorded 12 points and nine rebounds, while Robles, known as the “Ilonggo Superman,” added 12 points, five rebounds and five assists. Rizal also dominated the boards, 48-37, and outscored Bulacan in the paint, 44-34.
Jolo Mendoza contributed 11 points, highlighted by three three-pointers, along with three rebounds. JP Maguliano had 10 points, seven rebounds and two assists, Alwyn Alday finished with 10 points, five steals and three rebounds, while Marco Balagtas chipped in 10 points and four rebounds.
Bulacan fell to 4-10, putting its playoff hopes in serious jeopardy.
Airohn Acop paced the Kuyas with 17 points, six rebounds, three steals and two assists, while Jeremy Cruz added 13 points, three rebounds, two assists and two steals.
The tournament resumes on Wednesday at the One Arena in Cainta, with Sarangani facing Negros at 6 p.m., followed by Valenzuela taking on Marikina at 8 p.m.
