Royse Tubino smiles through fierce—but friendly—match with Sisi Rondina

Farm Fresh winger Royse Tubino came in all business against her former team, Choco Mucho, on Tuesday night.

Tubino, who joined the Foxies from the Flying Titans during the offseason, provided a crucial spark as Farm Fresh rallied from a 1–2 set deficit to shock Choco Mucho in five sets, 21-25, 25-22, 16-25, 25-18, 15-9, in the 2026 Premier Volleyball League All-Filipino Conference.

The 33-year-old spiker finished with 14 points and five excellent receptions, stepping into the starting lineup for Ara Galang at the start of the second set. She quickly asserted herself as a key force in the Foxies’ comeback against her former squad.

But Tubino, a fan favorite during her time with the Rebisco-backed team, insisted she wasn’t looking back. Her focus is on her own game, determined to help Farm Fresh break out of a two-game slump, all while knowing Choco Mucho would fight for every point.

“Wala.

While all business on the court, Tubino said she felt glad to reconnect with her former teammates, sharing a few friendly exchanges and lighthearted banter with Sisi Rondina during the match.

Ayun.”

The win was crucial for the Foxies, creating a three-way tie with Choco Mucho and Nxled for fourth to sixth place, all holding identical 3-4 records.

Tubino said she was happy for the team, especially after a two-game skid, highlighting the resilience that fueled Farm Fresh’s comeback.

“Tsaka itong panalo talaga na ‘to, team effort. Tsaka hindi kami sumuko nung dulo at lagi nga kaming kinakapos, pero this time nakuha talaga namin.”
