Rosser, Gray, Arana lead 66 prospects for PBA Draft as Andrade also pulls out

Sixty-six prospects have cleared the final hurdle before Sunday’s Philippine Basketball Association Rookie Draft, which takes place at Robinson’s Malate in Manila.

Twelve Filipino-foreigners were able to submit their documents by Friday’s deadline, headlined by Brandon Rosser and Jeremiah Gray.

The other Fil-foreigners are CJ Cadua, Carlo De Chavez, JJ Espanola, Jerwyn Guinto, Tyrus Hill, Earvin Lacsamana, RJ Ramirez, Chester Saldua, Kyle Toth, and Kameron Vales.

Not able to make the deadline were the likes of Sedrick Barefield, Joshua Fontanilla, Keith Datu, and Jeremy Arthur.

The locals entering the draft are headlined by Justin Arana, JM Calma, Jeo Ambohot, Javi Gomez de Liaño, Gian Mamuyac, Tyler Tio, and Encho Serrano.

Here is the final list of prospects:

High profile pullouts were Justine Baltazar and BJ Andrade.

Baltazar seems bound sign a deal with a B.League team. Meanwhile, Andrade decided to play out his final year with Ateneo de Manila University.

A total of 76 players initially applied for the draft.
