Rest of Rebisco cleared to join team in time for Supreme clash

Rebisco Philippines will have its entire team when it takes on Supreme Chonburi later in the day at the Asian Women’s Club Volleyball Championship.

Aby Marano, Dindin Santiago-Manabat, Eya Laure, and Ivy Lacsina have received clearance from Thailand’s Department of Disease Control after completing the requirements needed to fulfill local health protocols.

They will join the team immediately.

“They’re cleared to play,” said Philippine National Volleyball Federation national team commission head Tonyboy Liao.

It will be a timely boost for Rebisco – a team that is coming off a 23-25, 13-25, 17-25 loss to Altay last night.

With the four not cleared to join the team during the technical meeting of the tournament, Kim Dy and Majoy Baron moved from Choco Mucho to Rebisco. The two will remain with Rebisco for the duration of the tournament.

Completing Rebisco are Jema Galanza, Rhea Dimaculangan, Faith Nisperos, Mhicaela Belen, Imee Hernandez, Kamille Cal, Jennifer Nierva, and Bernadette Pepito.

Game time is at 4:30 PM (Manila time).
