Ravena family post emotional goodbyes to Thirdy

After months of waiting, Thirdy Ravena finally set forth for Japan to join San-En in the B.League.

But only two members of the Ravena household were able to say their proper farewell to the 23-year-old. Brother Kiefer and dad Bong are in the PBA Bubble in Clark, Pampanga.

Both Kiefer and Bong used social media to say their send-off messages to Thirdy.

“Shoutout to the ‘lil bro making big waves overseas. Sad we wont be there to send you off but definitely excited for your new journey!” read Kiefer’s message.

“Gotta show ’em what we made of!”

“My mini me! Godspeed in Japan, anak! Make us all proud! See you soonest!” said Bong, whose full name is Ferdinand II.

Thirdy left for Narita airport at 6:40AM and has arrived in Japan.

Due to strict travel restrictions, he might not be able to return home until the third quarter of 2021.

“To my number one enemy and cause of stress, good luck in Japan! Continue chasing your dreams big bro! I will still be your annoying sister from afar,” Dani’s playful message read.

“Set goals that scare you and excite you at the same time,” said mom Mozzy.

“I’m going to miss you kuya, but I know you’ve waited a long time for this. Be the best that you can be. Slay like……”
