Kiefer Ravena becomes first Filipino athlete with Air Jordan PE

The Jordan Brand is dedicated to growing the game of basketball and inspiring the next generation. Kiefer Ravena’s first Player Exclusive serves as a testament to this commitment, showcasing the brand’s focus on greatness and global influence.

As the first Filipino athlete signed by the Jordan Brand, Kiefer is now also the first Filipino to receive a Player Exclusive – a pair of Air Jordan XXXIX shoes that proudly incorporates unmistakable Filipino elements.

These shoes pay homage to the Philippines and reflect Kiefer’s deep love for his country.

The upper features a bright blue embroidered textile, complemented by vibrant yellow and red accents on the tongue, toe, heel, and midsole, adding striking pops of color.

His personal logo, the “Point” guard, is embroidered on the heel.

This logo blends his initials with a pointing arrow, symbolizing Kiefer’s sharp instincts and directional leadership on the court.

Much like an arrow, Kiefer’s game is characterized by precision, strategy, and forward momentum, reinforcing his dual role as both a playmaker and a leader.

“The colorway of the shoe is clearly inspired by my roots. I’ve always been proud of where I come from – a country that is passionate about basketball,” said Ravena.

“From my national team stints since 2008 to my current professional career in Japan, I wanted to wear a shoe that reminds us of a kid from humble beginnings who is now representing a nation on the world stage while playing the game he loves.”

The Air Jordan XXXIX features a midsole made of full-length ZoomX foam and full-length Air Zoom, providing a premium cushioning experience. The upper is designed to secure the foot during explosive changes in direction.

These customized shoes will be on display at Jordan Manila starting October 27.
