Parks drafted by NY Knicks-affiliate in D-League draft


Bobby Ray Parks Jr.’s dream of entering the NBA continues.

Former UAAP Most Valuable Player Parks was selected as the last pick, 105th overall, by the Westchester Knicks in the 2016 NBA D-League Draft, Monday morning (Philippine time).

Last season, the former National University Bulldog was selected as the 25th overall pick by Dallas Mavericks-affiliate Texas Legends. He played 32 games for the Legends, posting norms of 4.6 points on a 42.6 percent shooting clip to go along with 1.9 rebounds, 0.8 assists, and 0.6 steals.

The 23-year-old last suited up for Gilas Pilipinas during its campaign in the FIBA Olympic Qualifying Tournament-Manila.
