If the PVL Open Conference has proven anything, it’s that Myla Pablo is among the elite wingers in the country
Pocari Sweat’s leading scorer has the stats and awards to prove it, having won two PVL Finals MVP trophies.
The only thing she lacks is a season MVP award.
With four-time PVL MVP and Pablo’s annual foil for the season award Alyssa Valdez missing Creamline’s last three elimination round matches, the 23-year old has the ripe opportunity to finally claim the elusive plum.
However, the Tarlac native reveals that individual awards sit low on her priority list.
It’s all about championships for Pablo.
“Stats?
If anything, Pablo sees room for improvement in her leadership skills, a mantle she’s had to take since Michele Gumabao’s departure.
Pablo sees libero Michele Gohing as the team’s vocal leader. In terms of leading by example, Pablo, as an open hitter, can do so much more as a leader.
Ngayon kailangan namin akuin talaga.”
