Following a failed bid to bring the 2017 Chooks-to-Go PSL Grand Prix title back to Foton for a third straight year, head coach Moro Branislav admitted that he is uncertain with his future with the Tornadoes.
Branislav, who led Foton to the 2016 Grand Prix championship in his first conference at the helm, told the media after Foton’s season-ender Tuesday afternoon that his contract ends this month.
Foton, a team that salvaged bronze after a sweep of Cocolife, has yet to give him an extension.
“I am not sure if this is how it’s done in the Philippines. Management has not yet offered me an extension,” said the soft-spoken tactician.
“Maybe they’re still thinking about it.”
Branislav is a 30-year international coaching veteran with stints in different countries all over the world. He came in for Fabio Menta last September of 2016. He also coached the Philippine contingent, PSL-F2 Logistics Manila, in the 2016 FIVB Women’s Club World Championship.
