Jaypee, Zaida reinforce ECHO for MSC

ECHO has brought in some old reliables to reinforce their upcoming campaign in the 2023 Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Southeast Asia Cup, taking place in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, this June.

On Saturday night, the reigning MPL Philippines champions announced that ECHO Proud stars Jaypee “Jaypee” Dela Cruz and Justine “Zaida” Palma will be joining their MPL roster for the regional meet.

Both Zaida and Jaypee were part of ECHO’s Season 10 roster but were eventually relegated to the organization’s MDL team in Season 11.

The 17-year-old jungler and the two-time MPL champion roamer showcased their worth in the development league, leading ECHO Proud to the inaugural MDL Philippines championship last April.

ECHO’s main five, which won the M4 World Championship and recently clinched the MPL PH Season 11 title, consists of Karl “KarlTzy” Nepomuceno, Benedict “Bennyqt” Gonzales, Tristan “Yawi” Cabrera, Sanford “Sanford” Vinuya, and Alston “Sanji” Pabico. They will take charge in their bid to become the first team in history to win an M-series championship and an MSC title.

According to the post by Mobile Legends Esports, Robert “Trebor” Sanchez will handle coaching duties while head coach Archie “Tictac” Reyes will be the team’s analyst.
