Projected top-three pick Jason Brickman will miss the entire 2025 PBA Draft festivities.
The 6-foot Filipino-American guard has a prior commitment in Guam, scheduled long before his stint with Strong Group-Philippines in the William Jones Cup.
As a result, Brickman will not be in attendance at both the Draft Combine, set for today and Friday at the Ynares Sports Arena in Pasig; and the draft proper on Sunday at the SM Mall of Asia Music Hall.
He has also notified the league of this commitment.
However, his absence does not affect his eligibility for the draft. Last year, Strong Group teammates Dave Ildefonso and RJ Abarrientos also skipped all draft activities yet remained eligible.

The 33-year-old Brickman has long expressed his desire to play in the PBA, first making his interest known as early as 2021. His plans were delayed due to strict requirements for Fil-foreign players.
Now, with the league easing its process for Fil-foreigners, Brickman is finally set to make his PBA debut.
For the meantime, he will continue suiting up for Abra Solid North in the MPBL before officially joining the team that selects him.
