Hadess leads Team Flash to first-ever MPL SG title, cops Finals MVP award

Mark “Hadess” Lazaro clinched his first-ever professional title as he led Team Flash to a 4-3 championship comeback against RSG Singapore in the grand finals of MPL Singapore Season 6 on Sunday in Singapore.

The 21-year-old jungler also earned the grand finals MVP award, thanks to his stellar performance, which allowed Team Flash to overcome a 2-0 deficit in the title match.

In a crucial moment with RSG reaching match point, Hadess executed one of the most significant plays of his career, successfully making a backdoor play in Game 6 with the Helcurt pick, forcing a do-or-die Game 7.

He then delivered a flawless performance in the final game, finishing with a 4-0-1 KDA, securing Team Flash’s title-clinching victory in just 15 minutes.

Hadess is set to represent MPL Singapore in the M5 World Championship in Manila this December, reuniting with his former team, Geek Fam ID, who were runners-up in MPL Indonesia.

In the previous season, Hadess played for Geek Fam, contributing to the team’s first-ever franchise playoff appearance alongside fellow Filipino import Allen “Baloyskie” Baloy.

Hadess participated in four seasons of the MPL Philippines, from Season 6 to 9, initially with Cignal Ultra before moving to Aura PH (later rebranded to Echo).
